If your laptop is not connected to the power supply, Windows automatically throttles the performance of apps. To be able to use Casablanca smoothly despite running on battery power, switch your power mode to “Best performance”.
If your laptop is not connected to the power supply, Windows automatically switches to the "Best power efficiency" mode to extend battery life. As a result, Casablanca may no longer display your image at the usual quality, and the video output becomes less smooth.
To avoid these performance issues, you can manually switch your laptop to "Best performance" mode:
- Open the Settings and click on Power & battery in your System settings.
- In the Power mode section, select the Best performance mode from the drop-down menu.
